ENCOUNTER SHORT FILM PROJECT

This was an exciting College project that saw me storyboard, design, film, animate and edit a short film. The project brief titled 'Arrival' was set by the company CKVFX and tasked me to create a short film that depicts an alien arrival onto earth. The film was shot in the Peak District by me and featured a fellow media student as a main character. The overall film had 3 different VFX Shots, the danger sign, the spray-painted rocks and the hovering ship. Of course since this short film is a fairly old project now, there are a lot of things I would change, such as the ship. It needs much more work to fit into the scene and the animation could use a lot tweaking.
